I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness that I can show any human being, let me do it now. Let me not deter or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

I love this quote. It and the Peace Prayer from St. Francis are words for all to live by:
Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; when there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand, to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
I found this quote on a little sticker and I fell in love with it. Thanks for speaking to my heart. If more people would think this way, the world would be a better place.
